Precision of Pilates with the power of plyometrics

Pilates was originally developed by Joseph Pilates, a German fitness innovator who created the method to help soldiers, athletes, and dancers improve their strength, balance, and recovery. Staying true to those roots, we design our classes to be equally effective for men and women from elite competitors to complete beginners.

FAQs

What time should I arrive for class?
Please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early. This gives you time to get settled, adjust your equipment, and start your warm-up. For safety reasons, late arrivals of 10 minutes or more won’t be permitted to join class. The warm up is essential to prevent injury.

Welcome! We recommend starting with our Introductory Private Session to learn Reformer setup, alignment, and foundational exercises. This session helps you feel confident and prepared before joining group classes.  We offer a special first time introductory private session for $60 (regularly $130). To schedule your session, please email info@plyopilatesperformance.com.  However, let the instructor know if it’s your first time and they will help guide you.

Pilates is a game changer for men! It builds core strength, improves flexibility, enhances posture, and increases overall body awareness, all crucial for athletic performance and injury prevention. Many male athletes use Pilates to boost mobility and power without sacrificing stability. It also strengthens smaller stabilizing muscles that traditional weight training can overlook, helping you move better both in the gym and in daily life. Basically, Pilates makes you stronger, more balanced, and more resilient from your core out.
